The donor child was admitted to Manipal Hospital for a neurological condition and he was declared brain dead Friday. His parents agreed to donate all his organs to those in need. The recipient is a child at Fortis Hospital in Chennai.
Bangalore traffic police had created a green corridor from Manipal hospital to the HAL airport where the traffic was cleared to make way for the ambulance.
Air ambulance landed in Chennai at 2:50 PM.
