Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will perform the state-level inauguration of the online ownership certificate facility at function to be held at Kumbla panchayat on Saturday.The online services were designed by the Information Kerala Mission (IKM), which has been set up by the government aiming at the integration of all local bodies through e-governance.The IKM has already developed the software for various services of 1,209 local bodies in the state. Its tasks include offering training for local body employees in hardware and software, connecting the works of local bodies with the district planning authorities and the state data centre, and providing technical support to LSGs.IKM develops software depending on the physical and infrastructure facilities available at various local bodies.
