Though Shonali Nagrani and Laxmi have also been roped in as possible wild card entrants, Mahek is the front-runner. A little birdie informs that all that buzz about her proximity to host Salman Khan has made it possible to get her back in the house. Now, let's see who wins.

Sonam shows off plunging neckline

Sonam Kapoor was in New Delhi recently for a fashion house event. Despite the chill, the actress arrived at the venue in a jacket with a plunging neckline. The fashionista is not known for her cleavage show, so somewhere during the event she decided to put on a white shirt. Was it to safeguard any oops moment or to beat Dilli ki sardi? Rohit Shetty to judge a reality show

After judging a comedy show, Rohit Shetty will now judge a reality show which has a bunch of affluent youngsters trade their lives with the have-nots. Though the director is busy with his film projects, he agreed to be part of the show as it will also have him guide the youngsters on the choices they make.

'Dam 999' songs for 'Oscars'

Apart from AR Rahman, no Indian composer has managed to grab a place at the Oscars. But that seems to have changed this year. Three songs from the film Dam 999, composed by veteran Kerala-based National Award winning composer Ousephachan's (who composes for most Malayalam films) are part of the final 39 songs selected for the Academy's Original Songs category.

Interestingly, this is Ousepachchan's first English film and though the film did not manage to garner great response, the music obviously has. The Oscar nominations will be announced on January 24.
