A man was arrested on Sunday from Dhawapur village in Bihar's Jehanabad district for demanding Rs 50,000 ransom from a school principal and another teacher, police sources said.
Acting on the complaint, the police arrested one Pappu Yadav for demanding extortion of Rs 50,000 from the government upgraded secondary school principal Rampravesh Das and another teacher Md Gaus and snatching Rs 3,000 from them at gun point, the sources said.
Yadav was earlier charged in another case for firing on the Ex-MP Arun Kumar nearly three years ago, they added.
