Mani boast: Advocates notice to DGP

KOCHI: A notice was served on the Director-General of Police on Monday to take immediate steps to arrest Idukki district secretary M M Mani, who publicly admitted that the CPM had killed many political opponents in the district.Congress activist Saji Kuriakose of Cherthala issued the notice through Advocate K N Rajani, High Court lawyer, to conduct a narco-analysis test on CPM leaders Pinarayi Vijayan, V S Achuthanandan, M V Jayarajan and P Jayarajan in this regard. All the political murders took place in the state since 1986 must be re-investigated. Or else legal action should be initiated against the DGP, the Home Department and the Principal secretary, the notice stated.
