New Delhi: Popular face on TV, Manish Paul makes his foray into Bollywood with Saurabh Varma's 'Mickey Virus'. Set in Delhi, the film is comic thriller and has Paul playing the role of a hacker.
After getting series of complaints related to hacking, Delhi Police hires Mickey Arora(Paul) a street smart small time hacker to help them solve the case. Mickey runs a grocery store in the day time and at night creates virus's for various anti virus companies along with his friend Chutney (Puja Gupta). Whether he is able to crack the cases and help Delhi Police is what forms the rest of the story.
The film has uncanny similarity to 'Vicky Donor' mainly because both its leads were popular faces on TV before making their debut in Bollywood and both the films are set in Delhi. 'Vicky Donor' turned out to be a surprise hit of last year and what remains to be seen is whether Paul will be able to create magic at Box Office with his comic timing.
