HYDERABAD: Annoyed at his name not figuring on a plaque at the inauguration of a sub-station, Malkajgiri MP Sarve Satyanarayana allegedly abused officials of Central Power Distribution Company Limited (CPDCL) on Monday. Satyanarayana, who was invited to attend the inauguration of a 33/11 KV sub-station at Dwarakanagar in Ghatkesar mandal, found that his name was missing on the plaque. Enraged, he immediately picked up an argument with the officials present there and is alleged to have later abused them. It was reported that Habeeb Nagar executive director Sudhakar Reddy was personally targeted by Satyanarayana. "Don't you know the protocol that has to be followed? I am the local MP. How can you miss my name on the plaque?" Satyanarayana questioned angrily. The Malkajgiri MP had come to participate in the inauguration along with Medchal MLA K Lakshmareddy.Meanwhile, the staff of CPDCL took strong objection to the behaviour of the MP and demanded an apology from him. However, Satyanarayana gained composure after several other Congressmen pursed him. Sudhakar Reddy refuted the allegations made by Satyanarayana and said that protocol had been followed.
