Mirzapur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh on Friday claimed the youth in the state support him in challenging the Centre to dismiss his government and was ready for any "sacrifice".
"Let the Centre dismiss the state government if it has enough courage and see the consequences as the youth of the state are with us (Samajwadi Party) and ready for any sacrifice," he said.
He alleged leaders of the Left parties like CPI General Secretary A B Bardhan as well as the UPA at the Centre were creating hurdles for schemes of his government in the state though similar schemes were being implemented in West Bengal.
Attacking the BSP, BJP and Congress, Singh said these parties had made the state to an akhara (wrestling ground) of communal forces while the SP was working relentlessly for restoring order in society.
The SP supremo defended his ongoing unemployment allowance and Kanya Vidhyadhan schemes saying he was merely distributing people's money among the needy but Congress leaders including AICC President Sonia Gandhi were finding it hard to digest.
He earlier inaugurated the Churk, Chunar and Dala cement factories lying closed for the past 15 years. The factories would now be run by the JP group and start production by February next year.
