Muniraju case: Lokayukta submits report to Court

BANGALORE:  The Lokayukta police on Saturday submitted a status report to the Lokayukta Court over a complaint that alleged Dasarahalli MLA S Muniraju of occupying lands in Kereguddadahalli illegally.The court also directed the police to submit their final report on January 17, 2012.Muniraju is being investigated by the Lokayukta police on the orders of the Special Lokayukta Court, following a private complaint by Puttaswamy, a resident of Kereguddadahalli in Yeshwantpur Hobli, who alleged that Muniraju had fabricated documents to obtain 1 acre and 15 guntas of land belonging to Puttaswamy’s mother-in-law Mallamma.  The complaint also names as accused former tahsildar Ranganath, Revenue Inspector Suresh and two others.
