Washington: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf will meet US President George W Bush at the White House on September 22 to 'review developments across the spectrum of their strategic partnership'.
The other issues to be discussed at the Bush-Musharraf meeting include progress in bilateral cooperation in energy, education, science and technology, economic development, counter-terrorism and advancing freedom and democracy, the White House said.
The two Presidents last met during President Bush's historic visit to Pakistan in March. Gen Musharraf is also scheduled to meet Vice-President Richard B Cheney and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Besides the White House meeting, Gen Musharraf, during his 11-day stay in the United States, will address the 61st session of the
United Nations General Assembly in New York and meet its Secretary General Kofi Annan.
In Washington, the Pakistan President will speak at the George Washington University and attend a round-table meeting at the
Carnegie Endowment for peace. In New York, he will participate in a panel discussion at the Clinton Global Initiative.
