Ayodhya Ram Mandir Inauguration Latest Updates: The devotional fervour is at its peak across the nation as Ayodhya is gearing up to mark the momentous occasion of the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. While many devotees from across the country are travelling to Ayodhya to offer their prayers to Lord Rama, some are donating money to contribute in the construction of the temple.
Meanwhile, the face-off between the BJP-led central government and the Opposition over the invitations being extended for the Pran Pratishtha of the grand Ram temple is continuously escalating with each passing day.
Notably, the guest list for the inaugural function is being decided by a team nominated by the Sri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is dominated by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony.

Chhattisgarh Govt Approves Annual Free Train Travel Scheme for Ayodhya Darshan
The BJP government in Chhattisgarh has approved an annual free train travel scheme for people who want to go for the darshan of Lord Ram at Ayodhya temple. The decision was taken on Wednesday at a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, an official said.
“Fulfilling yet another guarantee of Prime Minister Narendra Modi promised during the 2023 assembly elections,” an official release said.
Rajasthan CM to Send 2,100 Cooking Oil Drums For Sita Rasoi in Ayodhya
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Wednesday flagged off 2,100 cooking oil drums and a ‘Ram Durbar’ procession, heading to ‘Sita Rasoi’ (Sita’s kitchen) in Ayodhya. The oil will be used for cooking the food to be served to the devotees attending the inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya on January 22 and afterwards.
Arvind Kejriwal Received Letter To Block Dates For Ram Temple Event
With a couple of weeks left for the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at the Ayodhya temple, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal received a letter a few days ago saying he should block his dates as a formal invite for the ceremony, along with details will follow. However, no subsequent formal invitation has come yet, ANI reported citing party sources.
With the inauguration of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, people are reading the holy epic Ramayana written on Lord Ram. In view of this, the braille version of the epic Ramayana and Mahabharata was made available in the government library located at Jhunjhunu district headquarters.
Braille Version of Ramayana, Mahabharata Now Available
In efforts to make Ramayana accessible to those who cannot see the beautiful world, the government has also provided an audio version of the epics. For this, a special machine has been installed in the library which will read the book to the blind people after scanning it.
“This special machine has been installed in the library with the help of Raja Rammohan Roy Library Foundation Kolkata under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Along with this, braille script book has also been made available,” Library in-charge Dwarka Prasad Saini said.
Direct Bus Service From Haridwar & Rishikesh To Ayodhya
On the instructions of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a direct bus service has been started from Haridwar and Rishikesh to Ayodhya. Transport Corporation officials flagged off the bus from Haridwar after offering prayers. During this time, enthusiasm was also seen among the passengers traveling by bus.
The bus service will leave from Rishikesh for Haridwar at 7 pm and will leave from Haridwar for Ayodhya at 8:30 pm. The passenger fare for the bus is Rs 970.
1st Flight For Ayodhya Leaves From Ahmedabad
As the first flight for Ayodhya left from Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, several passengers arrived at the airport dressed as Lord Ram, Lakshman, Sita, and Hanuman.

LK Advani Will Attend Ram Mandir Inauguration
Veteran BJP leader LK Advani, who spearheaded the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, will be attending the inauguration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad earlier in December 2023 sent invitations to Advani (96) and Murli Manohar Joshi (89) for the inaugral ceremony of the Ram temple, however, the two leaders were unlikely to attend the event owning to their health.
Speaking about Advani’s attendance in Ayodhya, the VHP chief Alok Kumar said that all required arrangements and medical facilities will be provided to LK Advani.
Congress ‘Respectfully’ Declined Inauguration Ceremony
Congress has decided to skip the much-awaited ‘Pran Pratishtha’ (consecration) of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. Calling the consecration a “RSS/BJP” event, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, and Leader of Congress in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury have “respectfully” declined the invitation.
