While scientific advancements in the field of space technology have made the possibility of human colonies on the moon not a very unbelievable thing in the distant future, a Pakistani man’s obnoxious claim has had users in splits. In a video that has been going viral, a Pakistani man, in a conversation with an anchor, is heard saying that in the next 4-5 years, all Pakistanis will have reached the moon.
The video is from a year ago when India’s Chandrayaan 3 successfully landed on the moon. This video had gone viral at that time too. However, a closer analysis of the man’s statement reveals that he was not serious and instead was making a sarcastic remark about his country’s poor state of affairs.
In the video, a man is speaking with a Pakistani anchor. He initially stated, “In 4-5 years, all of us Pakistanis will reach the moon.” The anchor herself couldn’t help but laugh at this assertion. She asked the man, “What did you say?” He responded, “On the moon, you won’t find food, pizza, sweets, oxygen, air, water, or electricity ” The anchor agreed, and then the man added, “So in another four or five years, these things won’t be found even in Pakistan!”
The video was shared from a public account and was viewed by 73 lakh people in just ten days. Numerous humorous remarks appear in the comments section. Many people appreciated how the man humorously criticised the country. One user wrote, “Brother, you shouldn’t have spoken so much truth.” Another commented, “Uncle is right.”
Some users also believe that Pakistanis critique their people the best. Indians had a field day enjoying the roast. One user said that the first statement of the man would have had him roasted by users from all over India but the second statement has made him a hero instead.
