HYDERABAD: After noticing that the Lepakshi Knowledge Hub Private Limited had used the NOCs granted by the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) to raise finance in the name of another company, the NOCs have been withdrawn. Legal opinion has been sought on further action to be taken against the company for violating the norms.
This admission was made by major industries minister J Geetha Reddy to a question raised by TDP members P Keshav, Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu and three others.The question did not come up for discussion since speaker N Manohar declared that all the questions meant to be discussed in the Question Hour as deemed to have been answered.

In her reply, she said the APIIC allotted 8,844.01 acres of land in Anantapur to Lepakshi Knowledge Hub for establishment of Global Knowledge City. Lepakshi Knowledge Hub is constructing an Innovation Centre in 25 acres which is almost ready with landscaping.

On noticing that Lepakshi Knowledge Hub had used the NOCs issued by the APIIC for the purpose of raising finance in name of another company, the NOCs were withdrawn, the industries minister said.
