Ghaziabad: A CBI court on Monday remanded medicine supplier Vivek Jain in 14-day judicial custody in a case related to financial irregularities in the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) in Uttar Pradesh.
Jain was arrested on April 23 and was produced before the CBI court after remaining in CBI custody for five days.
The agency sought extension of his custody but Special Judge A K Singh sent him to 14-day judicial remand.
Jain is a relative of medical supplier Saurabh Jain who is already behind bars in connection with the case.
