THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (P and ARD) of the State Government has issued a circular to all government departments, office heads and district collectors regarding the directives to the appointing authority to make appointments of the candidates, advised by the PSC, on submission of the scanned copy of the candidates’ identity card along with the appointment order.P and ARD secretary T J Mathew issued the circular the other day intimating that now onwards only scanned copy of the identity card of the candidate would be sent along with the appointment order to the appointing authority. The appointing authority should make the appointment after identifying the candidates, based on the scanned copy.After conducting verification, besides the police verification, the PSC would send the verification certificate and original identity card of the candidate to the appointing authority.
