Ramnivas Raigar had asked his wife Dwarika on Tuesday night to wear a 'Tawiz' around her neck but she refused to do so.
Jaipur: Not following the dictates of her husband proved costly for a woman, who was allegedly battered to death in Jhotwara area of the city, police said on Wednesday.
Ramnivas Raigar (35), asked his wife Dwarika last night to wear a 'Tawiz' around her neck but she refused to do so, DCP (West) Sharat Kaviraj said.
This led to heated arguments between the couple. After the quarrel, Raigar hit his wife with some heavy object leading to her death, the DCP said.
Raigar was caught after the incident, he said.
A case has been registered and probe was on.
