A horrifying incident has shaken Jeevandesar village in the Sardarshahar area of Rajasthan’s Churu district, where a 64-year-old man was brutally murdered in his sleep on Wednesday night. The assailant, believed to have entered the victim Raghuveer Singh’s home by scaling a wall, and mercilessly attacked him with an axe, leading to his immediate death. The discovery of Singh’s lifeless body in the morning left his family and villagers in utter shock. Authorities were alerted promptly, and upon arrival, police officials began their investigation, examining the crime scene thoroughly. Forensic experts from the FSL were also called in to gather crucial evidence.
According to initial reports, the perpetrator fled the scene by scaling the wall once more after committing the heinous crime. The incident has sparked widespread concern throughout the village, prompting a gathering of concerned residents. The police are treating it as a serious case of murder, stated DSP Anil Kumar Maheshwari, who along with local authorities, is leading the investigation. At this time, police officers are exploring all possible motives and connections to ensure justice for the victim, he added.
As of now, the police have not identified any suspects or established a clear motive behind the attack. They continue to appeal to the public for any information that could aid in solving this tragic case.
