Ranchi: The RJD, whose supremo Lalu Prasad played a key role in the installation of Madhu Koda government in Jharkhand, will not join the UPA dispensation.

"We have decided to support the government from outside," state RJD chief Gautam Sagar Rana said. The decision to support the government from outside was taken to keep the "communal" BJP out of power, he said.

Madhu Koda government took over the reins of the state last week after the Arjun Munda government bowed out of office when it plunged into a crisis following resignation by four ministers.
