New Delhi: Bollywood's evergreen bachelor Salman Khan is finally talking of marriage. But when he talks of tying the nuptial knot, he sounds completely resigned to his fate. The numerous romantic links with fellow Bollywood stars and top models and the breakups that followed seem to have left Salman a completely broken man on this front.
"I leave it in God's hands," he now says of marriage. "Whenever He will give consent, I'll get married. Things are not in my hand. Without His will, nothing happens," PTI quoted Salman as saying. Salman was in New Delhi for a promotional event on Wednesday.
Grill him further, and Salman turns more philosophical. "I believe He (god) controls all of man's decisions. I'm also waiting for his signal," he says.
Ever since the word was out confirming Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai's marriage with Abhishek Bachchan and the engagement that followed, the rumour mills are abuzz about the prospect of Salman finally readying to tie the nuptial knot. Salman was romantically linked to Aishwarya Rai for some time before the two broke up.
Even in his filmy career, Salman is trying for an image makeover. "I'll soon be doing an action film which will be a complete departure from my romantic image," he revealed.
