Sandalwood film makers under IT scanner

BANGALORE: The Income Tax sleuths have raided the houses of several film makers and distributors on Friday and seized many documents.
Sources said that the IT officials have raided the houses of Kannada TV and film stars Ravikiran, Sihi Kahi Chandru and K Manju and others at Teachers Colony, J P Nagar, Vijayanagar, Sadashivanagar, Jayanagar etc. The raids took place simultaneously in the morning and documents related to financial transactions were seized. IT officials said that there was information about financial irregularities therefore they conducted the raids to verify the facts.
