Nupur's lawyer told the court that there was no material on record to show that if she was granted bail, she would flee the country.
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the bail plea of Nupur Talwar, prime accused in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case.
Nupur's lawyer told the court that the investigation in the case was over, the chargesheet had been filed and there was no material on record to show that if she was granted bail, she would flee the country.
Nupur's passport is currently with the court.
Next hearing in the case is on August 6.
Fourteen-year-old Aarushi was found dead in her bedroom at the Talwars' residence at Jalvayu Vihar, Noida, on the intervening night of May 16-17, 2008. The body of their domestic help, Hemraj, was found on May 17 on the terrace.
