CHENNAI: There was a brief flutter in the airport before Anna Hazare was slotted to take off from the Chennai airport. According to sources in airport security, just before Anna was set to check in for his flight, an unclaimed bag left near the Air India counter was spotted by a CISF guard. Immediately, security personnel kept the 74-year-old activist at bay and spent time in checking the contents of the bag to rule out the possibility of a bomb. Once they found that it was a harmless luggage bag, Anna was allowed to proceed to his plane. Almost half an hour later, a traveller came looking for the bag and was redirected to security. He explained that he had gone to the restroom and to the eatery and had misplaced it, before moving. Sources have confirmed that the miffed security men fined the owner of the bag.
