Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on Friday said that the CPM should fight in court if it is not satisfied with the probe into the Shukkoor murder case.
He was speaking after visiting the DCC office, which was ransacked by CPM activists on Thursday in protest against the arrest of CPM Kannur district secretary P Jayarajan.
Thiruvanchoor said, “The CPM has been alleging that the inquiry into the murder cases is part of UDF conspiracy. However, the government has been conducting the inquiries in an impartial manner.”
The minister said that the government had made all arrangements for Jayarajan in the court.
He said, “If there has been any mistake from the part of the police during the clash with CPM protestors, it will be cleared through an inquiry if required.”
Thiruvanchoor also visited the house of Union Minister of K C Venugopal which was attacked by miscreants in the wee hours of Friday.
