New York: After winning the US Open women’s final, Serena Williams is targeting a new period of dominance and believes her best is yet to come.

Displaying the talent and tenacity that helped her dominate tennis earlier in the decade, Serena Williams once again proved her magic was far from over as she won the US Open crown after a 6-year wait.

Williams says, “It was magical because it was. It was just magical. It was everything coming together, like magic.”

When she is fit, focused, healthy and motivated, few would argue Serena Williams is the best player in women's tennis.

She is back on top after 5 years and has now set her sights on taking her Grand Slam wins to double digits.

“I want to get double digits. I like that. I'm at nine because I'm pushing for 10, and I feel like I can do it. I obviously played well all the time in Australia, so that's coming up soon. I have to win another French Open and I love Wimbledon. I definitely have the game to do it. I love winning Grand Slams, so I look forward to it," quips Willliams.

With age on her side, she is just short of her 27th birthday, she certainly has time to realise her dream as well.
