Kanpur: Several BJP workers in Kanpur resigned on Friday to protest against the ticket given to party veteran Murli Manohar Joshi. The workers were also protesting against the expulsion of a local corporator - Vikas Jaiswal - from the party.
Jaiswal had recently heckled and harassed Joshi at a party meeting in Kanpur.
Jaiswal was reportedly expelled by the party for 6 years.
