New Delhi: He melt hearts with soulful numbers of 'Aashiqui 2' and now singer-composer Ankit Tiwari is all set to woo audiences in south. Tiwari will be making his debut in Kannada films as a playback singer for a movie called 'Dil Rangeela'. Sandalwood's sensational music-director Arjun Janya will be composing the song.
'Dil Rangeela', which is directed by Preetham Gubbi, has Golden Star Ganesh and Rachitha Ram in the lead roles. The track, which is crooned by Ankit Tiwari has the lyrics penned by Jayanth Kaikini.
Confirming Ankit's inclusion in the project composer Arjun Janya said, "I was blown away by his voice and the song he sang in his Hindi film. I wanted to use him for a Kannada movie and was able to rope him in for Dil Rangeela. This is the first time that Ankit is singing in another language and I am happy the song has turned out well."
