Six children fall ill after eating 'halwa', rushed to hospital

Six youngsters from one family had to be rushed to hospital in a suspected case of food poisoning at Sherpur village here, police said.

According to police, the victims, the eldest of whom was 18 while the youngest eight years of age, had consumed halwa before they started vomiting and began complaining of headache.

They have been admitted for treatment at the district hospital here, police said, adding that the matter was being investigated.
