Shah Rukh Khan kept his fans waiting for close to two hours during a promotional event of 'Don 2'.

New Delhi: Bollywood stars are known to arrive late and Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday kept up the tradition by keeping his fans waiting for close to two hours during a promotional event of 'Don 2'.

The actor, who had also turned up late last night for a press conference, however, blamed the delay on his packed schedule. Khan was accompanied by co-star Priyanka Chopra, producer Ritesh Sidhwani and director Farhan Akhtar at the comic book launch of 'Don' in the capital.

The 46-year-old, however, soon charmed his way through by dancing and enacting scenes from his upcoming movie. A lady from the crowd even asked for a hug and Khan obliged her by jumping the barricade and hugging her, leaving the crowd

berserk at the Reliance Metro Airport Express station.

When asked by an angry journalist about arriving late, Khan said, "I hope you understand our situation... I slept at 3 am last night and have been busy touring the whole city for promotions."

The actor was all praises for Delhi and said he missed the capital and his growing up days here. "Everyone knows I am from Delhi and I love this place.. I

still have my home here and visit often.. I miss my school days and Delhi winters."

In the past, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sonam Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt have kept the media and fans waiting by being late for events.
