SSC CHSL 2017 Registration Extended for Two Days, Apply Before 20th December 2017, 5PM
The Important Notice for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2017- Extension of Closing Date also read that for challans that have been generated till 20th December 2017, 5PM can be paid at SBI branches till 22nd December 2017 within banking hours.

SSC CHSL 2017 Registration date has been extended by the Staff Service Commission (SSC) to 20th December 2017.

The SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2017 is aimed to fill 3259 vacancies for the posts of LDC/JSA (898), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant (2359) and DEO (2).

The registration process was supposed to end today i.e. 18th December 2018 however due to technical glitches on the website reported by candidates, the last date to register online for SSC CHSL 2017 has been revised to 20th December 2017, 5PM. Candidates can read the official notification here:

Step 1 – Visit the official website - http://www.ssc.nic.in

Step 2 – Click on ‘Apply’ tab on top of the page

Step 3 – Click on ‘CHSL’ in the pop up

Step 4 – Click on Click Here to Apply

Step 5 – Complete the application process and pay the application fee

Step 6 – Download the confirmation page and take a print out for further reference

Pay Scale:

The selected candidates will fall in the pay scale of ₹5200 to ₹20200.

SSC CHSL Exam 2017 Important Dates:

The Computer-based SSC CHSL Tier I Examination of 200 marks is scheduled to be conducted from 4th March 2018 to 26th March 2018 across the country.

The Pen and Paper mode SSC CHSL Tier II examination of 100 marks is scheduled to be conducted on 8th July 2018 for candidates who will clear the Tier I exam.

Candidates who clear the Tier II exam will be eligible to appear for Skill test or Typing Test to conclude the selection process.
