Islamabad: At least 10 people were killed and dozens injured on Friday as an explosion ripped through a mosque in north-western Pakistan.
The blast occurred during the Friday prayers in the Hayagai Sharqi area of Upper Dir district, Aaj television reported.
Thirty people were injured.
The report cited a witness as saying that a suicide bomber entered the mosque and blew himself up.
The blast also damaged some shops adjacent to the mosque.
