CHENNAI: The Gopalapuram-based Shree Geeta Bhavan Trust is organising a state-level free suyamvaram for the differently-abled in September.A release from the Trust said that applications would be received from the differently abled persons till August 10. The suyamvaram for the deserving candidates would be held on September 4 and the marriages would be conducted on December 8.Interested persons can obtain application forms from Shree Geeta Bhavan Trust located at 334, Llyods Road, Gopalapuram and also from Tamil Nadu Handicapped Federation Charitable Trust, Erikarai Salai, Kottupuram. Psychologists, sign-interpreters for the deaf, dumb and blind, and a Braille language facilitator would conduct counselling to select 25 couples.Following the successful conduct of free mass marriages for the deserving poor, which included a few disabled as well, the Tamil Nadu Physically Handicapped Federation Charitable Trust had approached the Geetha Bhavan Trust to conduct yet another suyamvaram exclusively for the disabled, the release added.For more details, contact 28351513, 9381007304, 98840646953 or email to [email protected] or [email protected]
