TEJAC demands new pay panel

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee (TEJAC) has demanded constitution of the 10th Pay Revision Commission by abolishing the present anomaly committee which is headed by RM Gonela.The demand was made by the TEJAC at a meeting held at TNGO Bhavan here on Monday which was attended by representatives by all its constituents.The meeting discussed all Telangana employees' problems and decided to launch an agitation if the government failed to accept their demands.TNGO president K Swami Goud said they would organise launch-hour demonstrations on May 3 at all government offices and would submit memoranda to respective district collectors demanding implementation of PRC's recommendations.After bypolls they would meet again to chalk out next round of agitation, Goud said and demanded implementation of GO 610 and issuance of health cards to all employees.
