HYDERABAD: A round table conference convened by the Federation of Telangana Pharma and Chemical Industry here on Sunday urged the state government to take speedy steps for establishing a Pharma Cluster in the Telangana region.The conference also urged chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to direct the departments concerned to clear the pending applications of Telangana entrepreneurs wanting to set up pharmaceutical units.Telangana Political JAC chairman M Kodandaram, Congress MPs G Vivekananda, M Jagannatham and G Sukhendar Reddy, MLAs K Laxma Reddy, M Satyanarayana and K Hareeshwar Reddy, BJP leader B Dattatreya and several other leaders participated in the meeting which was attended by nearly 250 entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs alleged regional discrimination and accused the government of encouraging Seemandhra industrialists.
