PARADIP: Police have sought intervention of the Union Ministries of Home and External Affairs, Central and State Intelligence Bureaux to trace out possible terrorist links with the 16 Bangladesh fishermen, including their captain Bimal Majhi, who were caught on Saturday.The Paradip Marine Police on Tuesday forwarded them to the JMFC Court at Kujang, informed SDPO Santanu Das.During investigation, the fishermen said that they had gone to Kantha area in West Bengal to buy clothes for trade. However, the cops are not buying their version.Cash of 9,000 Taka was recovered from them which the cops said, was too meagre for purchasing clothes from West Bengal market. Nine mobile phone sets without SIM cards were also seized from them. They admitted to have fired at local fishermen and then thrown the revolvers into the sea.
