Three men gangrape 22-year-old woman, booked

A 22-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by three youths in Harsoli village of Muzaffarnagar district, police said.

The woman had gone to collect water from a hand pump in the wee hours on Sunday when the three youths picked her up and gangraped her. They had also threatened to kill her if she reported the matter to police.

Circle Officer SP Sharma told reporters that police have registered a case against three accused Intazar, Irfan and Harish.The accused are absconding.

Meanwhile, a school teacher, who was raped by a youth in Balwakheri village, would be produce before a magistrate on Monday for recording her statement.

The 23-year-old teacher was allegedly raped by a youth which was videographed by two of his associates on Saturday evening.
