ALUVA: Vehicular traffic will be rescheduled in Aluva with effect from Monday evening to Tuesday 11 am in connection with the Sivaratri festival celebrations, said Ernakulam Rural SP K P Philip. Vehicular traffic will be strictly banned from Thottakkattukara Junction to Manalpuram. Roadside parking will not be allowed from the bank Junction to Town Hall on both sides of the national highway from Thottakkattukara to Pulinchode Junction and from Bypass Junction to superintendent engineer’s quarters. The service of ferry boats across the Periyar is banned as a temporary bridge has been constructed. Light vehicles can be parked on the roadside on Aluva-Perumbavoor KSRTC Road eastwards from the superintendent engineer’s quarters.  All vehicles to Manalpuram should turn from Seminarypady to GCDA Road, Ayurveda Hospital and reach Manalpuram. Parking ground for private vehicles is arranged on Manalpuram. KSRTC buses from Angamaly and Paravoor should turn from GCDA Road to Ayurveda Hospital, new GCDA Road and reach the KSRTC temporary bus stand near Manalpuram. The KSRTC buses from Manalpuram stand should go via Dessom Kadavu and Paravoor Junction. The private buses from Angamaly should terminate journey at the vehicle-test ground. The private buses from Edayar and Varapuzha areas have to take UC College Road, Seminary Road and reach Karunakaran Nagar Ground near Paravoor Junction. The buses from Karuanakaran Nagar Ground should return through the same route. The KSRTC buses from Ernakulam coming through NH should turn right from Pulinchode and proceed to Karothukuzhi Hospital, Grand Hotel Junction and turn right to temporary bus stand near the Goodsshed. The buses can return through Grand Hotel Junction and turn right to Bank Junction and Bypass Junction and proceed through NH service road to Pulinchode Junction.  The private buses from Ernakulam should enter the town through Pulinchode, Market Road and reach Private bus stand.  The returning buses have to pass through Bank Junction, Bypass Junction and proceed through the service road. The KSRTC buses from Perumbavoor should turn right from Pump Junction to temporary bus stand near the Town Hall and return through the same route.  Private buses from Perumbavoor will have to go directly to Hospital Junction from Power House Junction and reach the private bus stand and return through Bank Junction, Bypass Junction, Service Road, Pulinchode, Karothukuzhi Junction, Government Hospital Road, and Power House Junction.
