Kolkata: The owner of a van which was allegedly used by the suspects in the Jhargram train tragedy has been arrested in Kharagpur in West Bengal.

Khagen Mahato was arrested by the West Bengal police’s Criminal Investigation Department for the train crash in which 148 people died. The van which was used by suspects to remove fish plates from the tracks has also been impounded.

Naxals have been blamed for the train crash.
