Mumbai: It seems Vidya Balan's success with challenging roles like in 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Kahaani' has tempted other actresses to pick out-of-the-box roles. Kulraj Randhawa happens to be one such example.
Kulraj, whose latest film 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni' hit theatres this Holi, says she wants to concentrate on taking up challenging roles.
"If an actor gets challenging roles then there is nothing better than that. So, of course Vidya Balan has done great work in 'Kahaani' and 'The Dirty Picture'. There is a lot of space for good actors and good talent. So, I look forward to do some good performance-oriented roles," she said.
For now, the 28-year-old is excited about the premiere of 'Chaar Din Ki Chandni' in Hong Kong Saturday evening. She says it is perhaps the first-ever Bollywood film to be premiered there.
"It's a very good feeling that our film will be premiered in Hong Kong. People have encouraged us to showcase our film there," said Kulraj, who is paired opposite Tusshar Kapoor in the film.
"In fact, (I think) this is the first time that a Hindi Bollywood film is going to Hong Kong to be showcased (through a premiere)... So, I feel privileged about the fact," she added.
Kulraj started off her acting career with the TV serial 'Kareena Kareena"\' and later featured in a Punjabi movie 'Mannat' and 'Tera Mera Ki Rishta'. She ventured into Bollywood with 'Chintuji', featuring Rishi Kapoor before landing a role in 'Yamla Pagla Deewana'.
