BANGALORE: The Vidyaranyapura police have discovered that it was a case of road rage that killed a 28-year old man on September 17 and arrested the perpetrators.The accused have been identified as Santosha alias Santhu (22), Avinash (22), and Lokesh (26).The trio had murdered Santosh Kumar (28), a resident of Siluvepura on September 17 evening.According to the police, Santosh was returning home on his bike on Hesarghatta Main Road, when he had an altercation with three people travelling in a Maruti-800 car.The accused in the car picked up a quarrel with him for coming in their way and stabbed him to death.The police tracked down on Maruti- 800 cars with Kannada number boards, and looked for similar cases in the past.They found that the accused Santhu was involved in a similar case about two years ago.When questioned, he confessed to having committed the crime.
