The Forests and Wildlife Department has announced a poster competition for the public in a bid to spread awareness on wildlife conservation.
The posters in water, poster or acrylic media on A3-size paper should have an attractive message on the protection of biodiversity. A note on the name, address and phone number of the contestant should be enclosed with the entries. The poster should not bear any identification regarding the contestant.
The first, second and third prize winners will get cash prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 1,500 respectively.
The entries should reach the Deputy Forest Conservator (Wildlife), Forest Headquarters, Vazhuthacaud, Thiruvananthapuram, on or before September 30. For details, contact over 0471-2529319, 2529323 or visit the website www.forest.kerala.gov.in
