Will the Google Nexus 5 make the Nexus 4 a sweeter deal?
Ever since Google announced the Nexus 5, prices of the Nexus 4, which had been more or less steady for long, are slowly sliding downwards.

New Delhi: That the LG-Google Nexus 5 is coming to India very soon and that too with attractive price tags could make the previous generation of the Nexus phone - the Nexus 4 - even more appealing for prospective buyers. But this is subject to LG continuing with sales of the Nexus 4.

Currently the phone is available for around Rs 22,000 online and it is expected that the prices will slide even further when the Nexus 5 is officially available in India.

Even though the Nexus 5 is an upgrade of the Nexus 4, it doesn't mean that the Nexus 4 is going to be obsolete any time soon. The Nexus 4 got rave reviews and more than a year after its launch it remains a recommended choice for someone looking for a smartphone in that budget.

The biggest disadvantage of the Nexus 4 is its limited storage but for users who can live with that, the expected price drop could make it an even sweeter deal. More so with the Android KitKat upgrade on its way.
