New Delhi: State of the art sound system, numerous LED screens, and promotion through social media are some of the many highlights of the September 29 rally by BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
"The rally will be covered by seven cameras from all angles. This feed will be available for live broadcast and the video streaming would be in high-definition," said Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Vijay Goel.
"An online campaign for the rally is already on with extensive use of social media platforms," he added.
There will be three stages in all. Modi and other leaders will be seated on the main stage with a dimension of 80x40 square feet and eight feet high. In the backdrop will be two massive LED screens with moving visuals, said Goel.
According to Delhi BJP leaders, meetings are being held daily at the Japanese Park in north Delhi's Rohini - the venue of the rally.
Named 'Vikas rally' (development rally), the BJP is expecting over four lakh people and has already sent one lakh invitation cards.
Around 20 LED screens have been put up all over the park and another 100 screens will be installed in market places for Delhi residents who won't be going to Rohini.
A temporary parking spot which can accommodate 5,000 cars and buses is also being prepared near the park.
As far as the security arrangements are concerned, dozens of CCTV cameras and hundreds of private security guards will keep an eye on the crowd. There is a possibility that Modi may arrive at the venue in a chopper due to security reasons.
The rally will focus on corruption, price rise and law and order. The BJP will also announce the names of its candidates for the Delhi assembly elections - expected around November - on the occasion.
