Yeddyurappa waiting for flash point?
The former chief minister will not continue in BJP and is waiting for the party to dismiss him..

TUMKUR: Against the backdrop of his decision to attack openly the BJP high command, including L K Advani, former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa seems to be waiting for a flash point to announce his “big decision”. As of now, he seems to have left it to the party’s discretion. His staunch supporter and Tumkur MP G S Basavaraju confirmed that Yeddyurappa would no more continue in the BJP and was waiting for the party to dismiss him. For Yeddyurappa, the backing of visionary Seer of Siddaganga Mutt and his mentor Sri Shivakumara Swamiji is a trump card as it accords him the tag of “undisputed” Lingayat leader. His visit to the mutt last Monday, as claimed by himself, has put on hold his decision since the seer had reportedly advised him not to leave the party at this juncture. Before announcing his decision he is doing the spadework, of which the opening of his “parallel office” in Bangalore is sufficient evidence.A senior BJP leader admitted that it was going to be a tough call for the party as any decision against him could boomerang. But the BJP is prepared to face any eventuality and it would try to woo leaders and party workers belonging to the Scheduled Castes and other communities to compensate the loss of some percentage of Lingayat votes in the next Assembly polls.During the reign of the JD(S)-BJP coalition in 2008, when H D Kumaraswamy refused to transfer power to the BJP, Yeddyurappa used the opportunity as a springboard for himself and catapulted the BJP to power in the state.
