Popular K-pop sensation and actress-singer, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, has recently made a significant decision regarding her solo career. According to reports from K-media, she has opted to collaborate with her brother’s company for this new chapter. The chosen platform is the entertainment subsidiary Blissoo, which operates under her brother’s leadership at Biomom Inc., an established health food company. According to its official website, Biomom is a “compound word of ‘BIO food’ as health functional food and ‘MOM’, that is a leading specialty brand in the Korean infants and children health functional foods market.”
This strategic move suggests a different approach to Jisoo’s solo endeavours, deviating from earlier speculations about her potential association with G-Dragon’s agency. By joining forces with Blissoo, Jisoo aims to contribute to the expansion of Biomom.

In the context of BLACKPINK, recent discussions have surfaced regarding the members’ decision not to renew individual contracts for solo activities under their existing label, YG Entertainment.
After renewing their group contract with YG Entertainment, the Pink Venom artists, Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa, and Rosé, renowned for their record-breaking world tour, collectively opted not to renew their solo contracts with the label, reportedly effective December 29, 2023.
An official statement from YG Entertainment confirmed the group’s commitment to collective activities but clarified the absence of additional contracts for individual pursuits. The statement expressed YG’s unwavering support for BLACKPINK’s group initiatives while extending warm wishes for the members’ solo ventures.

The spokesperson remarked, “It’s complicated to define the company’s relationship with Blissoo. I don’t know the CEO’s family relationship either,” opting not to provide further details on the intricacies of this collaboration, reports Koreaboo.
Apart from Jisoo, another member and rapper Jennie, recently shared her future plans with fans and launched her own agency, ODD ATELIER, in November 2023.
