New Delhi: Actress Aditi Rao Hydari will walk the ramp of the forthcoming Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) Autumn-Winter 2016 here for designer Shruti Sancheti.

Sancheti will be presenting Constantinople, which takes inspiration from the culture of Istanbul and celebrates the neo-ethnic diversity, read a statement.

The five-day fashion extravaganza will begin on March 16 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here, and the 'Wazir' actress will walk the ramp on March 18.

Rooted in the Islamic architecture, the collection features luxurious modern cuts with quintessential handcrafted brilliance. Conflicting pattern clashes of fluid paisley, geometric mosaics and rustic clamp dying, form the core of the line.

The range offers natural fibres like finely woven Karnataka silk, chanderi, chambray, wool, teamed with international favourites like felt and denim, to impart a global appeal.

The colour palette is deep and dark like oxblood, burnt orange, deep purple, royal blue, teal, slate grey.
