Laapataa Ladies, presented by Jio Studios, is an engaging film that delves into the story of two brides who accidentally switch places on a train and embark on a journey of self-discovery. The movie addresses themes like feminism and women’s empowerment.

Directed by Kiran Rao and produced by Aamir Khan and Jyoti Deshpande, the film stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles. After receiving acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year, the film hit theaters on March 1, 2024, with fans eagerly awaiting its upcoming release on OTT platforms.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir Khan is all set to make his comeback with RS Prasanna’s Sitaare Zameen Par and Rajkumar Santoshi’s Lahore: 1947. While the actor will be starring opposite Genelia D’Souza in the former, he would be producing his maiden collaboration in the latter that’ll see Sunny Deol in the lead. A recent report claims that both the projects will kick off from February.
