In relation to the Renukaswamy murder case, seventeen people including Darshan and Pavithra Gowda, have been taken into custody so far. According to recent sources, Chikkanna, another well-known actor in the Kannada cinema industry, has received a police notice for questioning, for the second time. Chikkanna was reportedly handed a summons to appear for questioning on Monday by the police squad, for investigating the death of Renukaswamy. As per reports, after concluding the investigation into Renukaswamy murder, the case has been strengthened against Darshan with hundreds of pieces of evidence, tens of thousands of technical pieces of evidence, all without leaving a trace. Darshan and the others have been suspected to spend months behind bars. The police have finished their investigation and have created a 4,000-page charge sheet.
Chikkanna’s visit to Darshan has made the investigation more complicated. The actor visited Darshan in the middle of the Renukaswamy murder investigation. Chikkanna is one of the case’s witnesses. He met Darshan in jail while the case was still being investigated, which led to more problems for him. According to reports, cops will interrogate him with questions like -Visited Darshan with what intention? What was talked about? It appears that the recent charge sheet from the police now confirms Darshan’s role in Swami’s murder case. Darshan is also alleged to have been the mastermind of Renukaswamy’s kidnapping and death.
Darshan’s clothes reportedly had stains from Renukaswamy’s blood. Not just the bloodstain, but also the proof that Darshan had attacked. The statement provided by the accused has also begun to trouble Darshan for this case. As per reports, Chikkanna, who usually plays comedic roles, was chosen to be questioned because, according to police sources, he was with Darshan on June 8 night also when the crime was allegedly committed.
Previously, nineteen people were arrested by the police for the murder of Renukaswamy, including Darshan Thoogudeepa and Pavithra Gowda. It has been rumoured over the past ten years that Pavithra and Darshan are dating. According to police sources, Renukaswamy, a Darshan fan, allegedly sent Gowda some lewd messages on social media, which enraged the 47-year-old actor. Darshan was taken into custody on June 12 in Mysuru. According to reports, the actor gave two of the four individuals who accepted responsibility for Renukaswamy’s murder Rs 5 lakh. Renukaswamy was reportedly pushed against a wall after being severely assaulted with a belt and sticks, according to media sources.
