Actor Jibraan Khan, who is awaiting the release of his new film Ishq Vishk Rebound, has shared how he is battling the intense heatwave gripping the entire country.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has declared an orange alert and several parts of India are experiencing unusually high temperatures. Recently, Delhi’s Mungeshpur automatic weather station reported 52.9 degrees Celsius. In Mumbai, the high humidity is added to the mix as the city is located on the coast.
Speaking to IANS, Jibraan shared how he is battling the unusual weather. He said, “To cope with the terrible heat, I make sure I drink plenty of water and stay in the shade as often as possible. To cool down, I take cool showers to bring down my body temperature.”
Despite the unusual weather, the actor continues his workout routine but has adjusted his schedule. He has shifted his fitness workouts to the cooler hours of the day. Jibraan shared, “I exercise early in the morning or late in the evening when it is cooler and opt for indoor activities to avoid the worst of the heat.”
“This heatwave is bringing the impact home to us and while it is easy to comment from the comfort of our air-conditioned homes, my heart goes out to those who cannot afford such luxuries. Despite the challenges, life goes on and we must continue to work to earn a living. Let us remember to stay cool and drink plenty of water and remember to leave a bowl of water for the birds and animals outside,” he added.
Jibraan Khan has transitioned from a child actor to a male lead and is all set to play his way into the hearts of the audience with his charm and charisma. The 30-year-old actor made his acting debut as a child actor in the 1999 film Bade Dilwala starring Suniel Shetty in the lead role.
