Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the leading men in Bollywood, who is known for his unconventional and thought-provoking roles as well as his fashion sense. In a recent interview, the actor discussed how most film stars resort to renting their clothes instead of buying them, a trend that has been followed for a while in the industry.

In a conversation with Mashable India, Ayushmann talked about the renting culture in Bollywood. He said, “Pura Bollywood rent pe hai. Aapko lagta hai hum kapde kharedte hai? (Whole Bollywood is on rent. Do you think we buy all the clothes?)”
He continued, “We hire stylists, they source the clothes and return the clothes. Where will we take so many clothes.” The actor revealed further that he loves Diljit Dosanjh’s style the most in the industry, saying he propelled Punjab to the global stage. He stated, “He is too good.”
Talking about his own fashion choices, the actor added that he is not “passionate” about fashion. According to him, sporting looks for work is just a part of their profession, which does not drive him to become more fashionable. He revealed that during his anchoring days, it was his brother Aparshakti Khurana who used to style him. Ayushmann paid his brother for his work, calling it his pocket money.
Ayushmann Khurrana was last seen in the film Dream Girl 2, the sequel to his 2019 superhit Dream Girl. It is directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa and starred Ayushmann Khurrana in dual roles. The rest of the cast included Ananya Pandey, who was the female lead, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manjot Singh, Rajpal Yadav and more. It is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Motion Pictures. The film was released on August 25, 2023.
