Prarthana Behere is one of the most renowned faces in Hindi and Marathi cinema. She started her career at 16 and is known for her role in the Hindi television show Pavitra Rishta as Vaishali Dharmesh Jaipurwala. She debuted on Marathi television in 2021 with Zee Marathi’s popular show Mazhi Tuzhi Reshimgath. On April 13, she appeared in the actress Sulekha Talwalkar’s talk show Dil Ke Kareeb hosted on YouTube.
In this segment, Prarthana opened up on the question of embracing motherhood which has been asked repeatedly by most of her followers. The Mazhi Tuzhi Reshimgath actress said that she has decided to never become a mother and instead wishes to have a lot of pets. According to the 41-year-old actress, her husband and director Abhishek Jawkar has agreed to this condition. Now, the actress said that they are taking care of these pets as their children and their families have also supported them in this initiative.
In an earlier interview, Prarthana had said that they (she and her husband) have 5 pet dogs, 12 horses, and fish, and two mice as well.
For those who don’t know, Prarthana and Abhishek first met on July 2, 2017, through a matrimonial site. They became best friends and eventually fell in love with each other. After spending enough time with each other, Prarthana and Abhishek tied the nuptial knot on November 14, 2017, in Goa and are enjoying their life to the fullest.
In an exclusive interview with the Times of India, she said, “But I now strongly endorsed arranged marriages to everyone. I feel whatever our parents decide for us is always the best. Though I never wanted to marry an actor or somebody from the industry Abhishek’s vast experience in this field has helped me a great deal. I seek his advice before making any crucial decisions."
On the work front, Abhishek is known for directing films like Missing on a Weekend, the music video Sumthing, Sumthing, Grey, and the television series Glitter. Meanwhile, Prarthana has shown her acting skills in the films Coffee Ani Barach Kahi, Meter Down series, etc.
